About Us
There are activities for all ages at North Spray Christian Church. Every
Sunday, we gather to worship and learn. Sunday School is at 10:00 a.m.
Sunday morning worship follows at 11:00 a.m. The church is handicapped
friendly. We have assisted listening devices, a ramp, and a covered entrance.
Come and be uplifted during our blended worship and communion service!
We have casual dress year round; however, we do ask that you not wear
anything inappropriate for church. Click here for a note from our pastor.
We have Sunday School classes for all ages. Below is a list of the Sunday
School classes that we offer.
Our Youth meet every Sunday immediately following the worship service until
2:00 p.m. for Bible Journey. They have a Bible lesson, make crafts, eat lunch,
and do other seasonal activities. This group is currently on hiatus for the
summer.
Our Bible Study and Prayer Meeting group meets every Thursday morning at
11:00 a.m.
We have a Prayer Room that is available for everyone to use. It is located just
to the right as you enter the main hallway from the foyer. You are invited to
pray before or after the service, or come by during the week.
The People of North Spray Christian Church support many community
concerns: Salvation Army, Saturday Church School, Rockingham Council for
Bible Education, Cooperative Christian Ministries, Room in the Inn (Help for
the Homeless), Battered Women’s Shelter, and Rockingham Pregnancy Care
Center.
North Spray is a Disciples of Christ church. For more information about

page. We celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2009.
North Spray is home to a very large labyrinth. It is open year-round. A

- Nursery: birth through age 2
- Youth Classes: preschool through teens
- Searchers: young, middle-aged, and senior adults – read and discuss
books selected by class - Challengers: middle-aged and senior adults – traditional curriculum
