General Information
The next Board Meeting will be on Monday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m.
Committee chairpersons are encouraged to attend for send a report from their
committee.
Vacation Bible School will be June 10-14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at St.
Luke's Episcopal Church. The theme this year is Kingdom Rock. We will have
preschool (must be potty trained), elementary (kindergarten up to 12 years
old), teens (13 and up), and adult classes. If anyone is interested in serving as
a nursery attendant, please let Heather Wakefield know. The following items
are needed: brown paper bags, empty paper towel rolls, empty wrapping
paper rolls, wrapping paper (1 inch striped or solid in gold, silver, red, purple,
blue, or yellow), very long cloths or drapes (solid purple, red, yellow, or
brown to be used as royal draperies). If you can supply any of these items,
please leave them in the designated box in the main hallway. Click here to

The bus will be used to provide transportation for adults and children
interested in attending Vacation Bible School from June 10-14, 2013. To
ride, please call the North Spray Christian Church office at 336.623.2371 or
e-mail admin@northspraychristianchurch.com. We will need the name of the
rider, street address, and phone number. We have 13 spaces available and on
a first-come, first-served basis. All bus riders must be ready to be picked up
beginning at approximately 4:30 p.m. The deadline to reserve seats on the
bus is Tuesday, May 28.
We will have a church movie night on Sunday, June 23. A light meal will be
served at 5:00 p.m., followed by a movie in the sanctuary beginning at 6:00.
Mark your calendars and plan to participate in this evening of fellowship.
The roof on both sections of our building is in need of replacement. The
Property Committee will soon be getting quotes on this project. A roof fund is
being established to assist with paying for this. If you would like to donate,
please use a pew envelope and mark clearly on the outside that it is for the
“Roof Fund.” Remember to write the amount of your donation on the
outside, as well; as this is the only record the secretary has after counters
remove the funds. Also, include your name or envelope number if you would
like credit for your donation.
