ABOUT US
North Spray Christian Church is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We welcome everyone in our congregation and encourage people to come as they are. We seek to be a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. There are activities for all ages at North Spray Christian Church. Sunday School is at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship follows at 11:00 a.m. More information about the church and our weekly events is below. We have been in ministry for over 100 years. Sunday Morning Worship
Every Sunday, we gather to worship and learn. Our morning worship service is at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Come and be uplifted during our blended worship and communion service! The Lord’s Supper is central to our worship. It is administered each Sunday by lay people and clergy alike. All are welcome and encouraged to participate with us in its celebration. No matter your background, you are welcome here!
Online Worship
If you are not able to join us in person on Sunday, please join us online! Our services are streamed online via Zoom. Click here for access. In addition, weekly sermons are recorded and posted on our Facebook page each Sunday.
Connect Groups
We have a variety of educational offerings for all age groups. Some groups meet on Sunday mornings prior to worship while others meet at various times throughout the week. Refreshments are provided for Sunday morning groups.
Nursery
We have a nursery available for kids from birth through age 2. Our nursery is located in the upstairs hallway of the educational building. Visitors to the nursery can hear the service from the room so no one has to miss the service.
Dress Code
We have casual dress year round. Please be sure that your dress is appropriate for worship. Some will have on suits and others will have jeans or shorts. We want you to feel comfortable so come as you are!
Baptism
We practice baptism by immersion after a public confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. We recognize all other forms of Christian baptism as being valid and accept a transfer of membership from any other church without rebaptism.
Accessibility
The church is handicap friendly. We have a ramp at the front entrance. We also have assisted listening devices for worship. Handicap-friendly restrooms are available on each floor.

- Jr. Disciples – elementary school youth – meets Sundays at 12:00 p.m. for lunch, Bible stories, and activities
- Teens – middle and high school youth – meets Sundays at 12:00 p.m. for lunch and an enhanced program of learning and fellowship
- Youth groups also have special events such as skate nights, Vacation Bible School, summer camp, bus trips, and pool parties!
- New Insights – ages 20 and up – meets Sundays at 10:00 a.m. – explore the message from Sunday more thoroughly through additional study and conversation in a relaxed atmosphere
- Searchers – young, middle-aged, and senior adults – meets Sundays at 10:00 a.m. – read and discuss books selected by the group
- Bible Study and Prayer – young, middle-aged, and senior adults – meets Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. – study scripture and pray for the church and its members
